FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 
  • What do i do before class?

    • Please bring your child into the venue before class starts and wait in the parent viewing area until the coach comes to collect the gymnasts.

    • Gymnasts must take shoes and socks off before going on to the gym floor placing these into one of the pigeon holes available, as well as putting their drink bottle in their coaches labelled bucket.

  • WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING & WEAR?

    • Gymnasts should wear comfortable clothing that is suited for gymnastics (no denim or skirts), layers are recommended in winter.

    • A named bottle of water

    • Long hair should be securely tired back

    • No jewellery or dangling earrings (simple earrings are fine)

    • No crop tops

  • WHAT IF WE MISS A CLASS?

    • Make up classes can be booked in the same term. *subject to availability

  • DO WE HAVE TO STAY AND WATCH?

    • Gymnasts must be dropped off and picked up from inside the venue

    • Parents are welcome to leave during class

    • There is a parent area available for both our training spaces

  • WHAT IS NUMBER 12?

    • Number 12 is our second training space, that is located next door at Unit 12 / 23 - 25 Clarice Road, just follow the path from our gym marked by the yellow posts to the venue located at the front of the building!

  • WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE GYMNASTICS?

  • WHAT ARE THE FEES?

    • Every gymnast must be registered and insured through Gymnastics Australia

    • 2019 Rego + Insurance Fee is:

      • $20 Preschool

      • $20 Recreational 5+ Years

      • $40 Competitive

    • Fees for a 10 week term in a 1 hour class is $245.00

  • AM I TOO OLD TO START GYMNASTICS?

    • YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD!

    • We run Adult Gymnastics classes every Monday from 8.30pm - 10.30pm, these classes are suitable for 18+

  • CAN I TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS?

    • For child safety and protection, the taking of photos and videos are not permitted at Eastern Gymnastics Club by club members, staff and parents at any time.

    • The only exceptions to this policy, is on the occasion that, time to time, Eastern Gymnastics Club may photograph or video current gymnasts for training purposes, or to use these images in Club publications and promotions and through online marketing or social media.
