The staff of Eastern Gymnastics Club are a highly enthusiastic and motivated group, most of which have past gymnastic experience either in competitive or recreational streams. Eastern Gymnastics Club prides itself on the high quality and dedicated coaching it provides. All classes are taken by coaches accredited with Gymnastics Victoria, Gymnastics Australia and the Australian Coaching Council.
Many coaches have been associated with the club for over 10 years, and are experts in enhancing skill development, involvement and enjoyment of all gymnasts.
Adelaid began working for the club in 2009. She is currently a Gymstar 6 gymnast at the club.
Alan began working for the club in 2004 and is an accredited MAG Level 1 and WAG Level 1 coach and a qualified WAG Advanced, ACR Advanced Silver and MAG Intermediate judge and is also Level 2 First Aid and a Gymstar Judging Course Presenter. Alan has previously been Gymfun & Gymstar Coordinator, Administrative Coordinator, Acting Club Coordinator and Acting Business Manager, and was a gymnast at the club for over 10 years, becoming a Life Member in 2004.
Alex is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach and began working for the club in 2010. Alex joined the club as an adult gymnast and quickly became involved in coaching.
Alison began working for the club in 2011. Alison began at the club as a parent before going on to become Vice President. In addition to her work at the club, she runs scrapbooking etc workshops and is a registered nurse.
Amy is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach and a qualified WAG Beginner judge and began working for the club in 2008.
Andrew is an accredited ACR Level 1 coach and a qualified ACR FIG4 judge. He is also the Victorian and National Technical Director for Acrobatic Gymnastics with many years of experience.
Bec began working for the club in 2010 and is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach. Bec has coached two Victorian Champion teams in 2011 - NPD1 and State 5.
Ben began working for the club in 2009 and is an accredited MAG Level 1 coach.
Bessie began working for the club in 2010 and is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach and a qualified WAG Intermediate judge. Since she was practically born in the gym her parents run in Mildura, Bessie has being doing gymnastics all her life, moving to Melbourne and joining us in 2010, after achieving excellent results as a State 10 gymnast.
Brieannan is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach. She is currently one of our Rhythmic gymnasts.
Britt is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach and a qualified WAG Intermediate judge and began working for the club in 2009. Britt's enthusiasm and dedication resulted in her being named 2010 Coach of the Year
Bruce is an accredited MAG Level 2 coach. He has been involved in the club for many years, since he was a gymnast himself, and Bruce is now a Life Member.
Caitlin began working for the club in 2012.
Chanel began working for the club in 2012.
Clara began working for the club in 2012.
Daniel began working for the club in 2011.
Daniel is an accredited ACR Level 1 coach.
Daniel began working for the club in 2011.
Debbie is a qualified WAG Intermediate Bronze judge and an accredited WAG Level 2, MAG Level 1 and RG Level 1 coach.
Dion began working for the club in 2004 and an accredited MAG Level 1 coach. Currently a level 10 gymnast, Dion has been competing at a high level for a number of years, and heads up our MAG coaching team.
Emily is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach and a qualified WAG Beginner judge. She is also currently a senior Acrobat.
Emily began working for the club in 2012.
Emma began working for the club in 2012.
Erin began working for the club in 2004 and an accredited WAG Level 1 coach. A Life Member who first joined in 1997, Erin is working hard to build the WAG Squad program.
Felicity is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach and a qualified WAG Intermediate judge. Previously the Head Coach at Box Hill, Felicity has many years of experience coaching recreational classes, all Gymstar levels and WAG squads.
Gabby began working for the club in 2011.
Gen began working for the club in 2006 and is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach and a qualified WAG Beginner judge.
Iolanda began working for the club in 2009 and is an accredited KG Level 1 & GFA Level 1 coach.
Jacek is an accredited ACR Level 1 coach.
Janine began working for the club in 2009. Janine is currently a Gymstar gymnast.
Joan is a qualified RG FIG4 judge and an accredited RG Level 2 coach. Joan has been with the club for many, many years. Her hard work and contribution to the wider rhythmic gymnastics community has earnt her Life Membership of the club and of Gymnastics Victoria, and she has also received a GV Service Award.
Julianna began working for the club in 2010. Julianna is currently a gymnast and acrobat.
Kate began working for the club in 2012.
Katharine began working for the club in 2008 and an accredited WAG Level 1 coach.
Kirsty is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach.
Krissy began working for the club in 2011.
Marina began working for the club in 2008. Her daughter Grace was formerly a gymnast at the club before moving to join the International program at Waverley. Marina was also previously payroll officer.
Max began working for the club in 2011.
Meaghan is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach and a qualified Gymstar judge and began working for the club in 2009. Meaghan is currently a WAG State 9 gymnast
Megan is a qualified ACR Beginner judge.
Melanie is an accredited RG Level 1 coach.
Melissa began working for the club in 2011.
Miriam is a qualified WAG Beginner judge and an accredited WAG Level 1 coach.
Naomi began working for the club in 2008 and is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach.
Nick is an accredited MAG Level 1 coach and began working for the club in 2011.
Nicola began working for the club in 2005 and is a qualified Gymstar judge and an accredited ACR Level 1 coach. Nicola started as a gymnast in 1997, and has trained, competed and coached Gymstar, WAG and Acrobatics and was made a Life Member in 2010.
Nicole began working for the club in 2012.
Noni began working for the club in 2009. Noni is currently a WAG State 9 gymnast.
Phill began working for the club in 2011. Phill is a MAG L10 gymnast from Knox.
Phoebe is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach and began working for the club in 2010.
Rachel is an accredited RG Level 1 coach.
Sarah began working for the club in 2011.
Sinead began working for the club in 2011. Sinead is currently a WAG State 9 gymnast
Sue is an accredited KG Level 1 coach.
Tim is an accredited MAG Level 1 and ACR Level 1 coach and began working for the club in 2003. Beginning as a MAG gymnast before becoming a very successful acrobat, Tim is now also involved in the running of the club.
Widya is an accredited WAG Level 1 coach and began working for the club in 2009. Widya is currently a Gymstar gymnast.
